He is meeting Russian PM Mikhail Kasyanov at 1 PM, chair of the Chamber of Trade and Industry Yevgeni Primakov at 10:30 AM and governor of the Moscow region Boris Gromov at 11 AM. Before returning home, he is to launch a new pharmaceuticals plant Krka-Rus.

2003 ISCM World Music Days Kick Off
The official programme of the 2003 World Music Days of the International Society for Contemporary Music (ISCM) is to start on Friday, with its focus in Ljubljana and accompanying events in several other venues throughout the country. Organised by the Slovenian ISCM Section and the arts and congress centre Cankarjev dom, the festival is to wrap up on 3 October.

Slovenia Hosts Meeting of CEFTA Agriculture Ministers
As Slovenia is currently presiding over the Central European Free Trade Agreement (CEFTA), the Ministry of Agriculture, Forestry and Food will host a meeting of agriculture ministers from CEFTA members today. According to the Agriculture Ministry, the ministers will focus on the situation, national strategies and further development policy in agriculture in the CEFTA countries, as well as exchange information on how the CEFTA countries have been joining the EU.

President Janez Drnovsek will speak at the UN General Assembly at 10 AM local time in New York. Later he is to meet with Secretary General Kofi Annan. Meanwhile FM Dimitrij Rupel will attend a meeting of EU foreign ministers with U.S. Secretary of State Collin Powell. He will also meet FMs of Marocco and Azerbaidzhan.

The three-member presidency of Bosnia-Herzegovina is to start an official two-day visit to Slovenia. The Croatian member and the presidency chair Dragan Covic, Bosnian member Sulejman Tihic and Republic of Srpska member Borislav Paravac are scheduled to meet with President Janez Drnovsek and Prime Minister Anton Rop.
