Visits to Slovenia
If a journalist wishes to visit Slovenia and needs any kind of professional assistance, he or she is kindly asked to contact the Government Communication Office. We will be pleased to assist in obtaining information on the current situation and events in the country, provide the relevant publications, set up the programme of the visit and arrange the contacts with the representative speakers.
Press related work also includes organisation of annual study ours on specialised topics in which the invited members of the press are given the opportunity to obtain their own impression of the country. Such programmes encompass direct contacts with politicians and the other representatives of the ministries, business community, parliament and other political parties. Often cultural and tourist programmes are included into these programmes.
On the occasion of incoming or outgoing visits of domestic and foreign heads of states and prime ministers, the Office provides assistance and briefing of the accompanying journalists.
