How do I obtain the code with which to label my entry?
The four-digit code with which entrants are required to label their entry is chosen by the entrants themselves (it can consist of letters or numbers). However, please note that the two sealed envelopes (1 and 2) contained in the entry are labelled only with the four-digit code, while the entrant's identity is stated only on the forms contained inside envelope 1. As this is an anonymous public call, we must ensure that the jury does not know the identity of the entrants when assessing their entries.
Does logo refer only to a recognisable typographical representation? Does this mean that solutions consisting of a graphic symbol will not be accepted?
The contracting authority considers logo a recognisable image which can incorporate a graphic symbol and/or typographical representation. Solutions consisting solely of a graphic symbol, therefore, will be accepted.
When will the names of jury members be announced publicly?
The contracting authority will announce the names of the remaining four jury members as soon as they are appointed by the Council for the Promotion of Slovenia.
How will payment be made if the entrant is a natural person?
If the contract is concluded with a natural person, the first instalment will be paid within 30 days of signing the contract, and the remainder within 30 days after the work of the author, contracting authority and selected agency has been completed. A natural person need not issue an invoice.
Why is one half of the fee being paid only after the work with the selected agency has been completed?
By paying the chosen entrant one half of the fee after signing the contract and the other half after the work has been completed, the contracting authority seeks to guarantee the author's collaboration in implementing the chosen solution.
Since the contracting authority does not reimburse costs to unsuccessful entrants, does this not imply that the contracting authority must return designs, and has no right to keep copies?
In accordance with Article 10 of the Public Procurement Act - official consolidated version /ZJN-1-UPB1/ (Official Gazette of the Republic of Slovenia, No. 36/2004) the contacting authority must record all stages of the procedure and retain all the documentation, while unsuccessful entrants are free to use the copyright of their designs.
