Can I label the header containing the name, surname and the code on the sheet of paper which will be e.g. in the envelope 'abcd/9'? Can I make my own logo and use it along with the personal signature on the Entry and Declaration Forms, while using only my personal logo on all other sheets?
Your entry is composed of two envelopes (1 and 2). The envelopes and the design solutions (entries for logo and slogan) are labelled only with a four-digit code of your choice (e.g. 'abcd'). If you submit several entries for an area (different logos or slogans), you add a serial number to the code of an individual design (e.g. 'abcd/1, abcd/2'). You should not include your name or any recognisable sign which would disclose your identity on the envelopes and designs, as such incorrectly labelled entries will be disqualified. You can only reveal your identity by completing the Entry Form and the Declaration Form, and use only your code in all other parts of the entry. Sign the Declaration Form and the Entry Form in your usual manner; do not sign the designs or the envelopes, and do not add any other signs which would reveal your identity. You are identified by the code of your choice, which is why it is important you label with it all designs, and envelopes 1 and 2. You may choose any four-digit combination of letters and/or numbers.
Owing to the large number of similar questions, we hereby provide an example of a correct and entry: label the documents containing the proposals for the logo/slogan with a four-digit code, and put them in an envelope. Label the envelope with the number 2 and with the four-digit code, e.g. 'abcd'. If you are submitting more than one solution for the logo/slogan, label each one with the four-digit code and number them, e.g. 'abcd/1', 'abcd/2', etc; however, envelope 2, which contains the solutions, must be labelled only with the four-digit code, e.g. 'abcd'. Fill in, sign, and stamp (the latter applicable only to legal persons and sole traders) the Entry Form and the Declaration Form, place them in a separate envelope, and label the envelope with the number 1, and the four-digit code. Put both envelope 1 and envelope 2 into a separate envelope and address it to: Government PR and Media Office of the Republic of Slovenia, Gregorčičeva 25, 1000 Ljubljana. In addition, you must write on the envelope: 'Anonimni javni natečaj - Logotip in slogan Slovenije' (Anonymous public competition - Logo and slogan for Slovenia). The envelope must bear NO distinguishing marks (e.g. name, address, stamp) by which the contracting authority could identify the entrant.
Do the conditions for Area A (the logo) and Area B (the slogan) stipulate minimum requirements, and if so, may the entrant submit additional design solutions and proposals, not specifically stated as conditions? Will various applications be considered as proposals for the logo? Is it obligatory for all illustrations to be submitted in A3 format?
The jury will consider only those entries compiled in accordance with the conditions stipulated by the tender documentation. Entries not in compliance with these requirements will not be adjudicated. With entries 'exceeding' the conditions (containing applications etc.) only those parts relevant to the tender documentation will be considered. The entrant may submit additional solutions not specified in the documentation, but these will not be considered.
Solutions pertaining to the individual Area (A or B) must meet the conditions stipulated in the tender documentation (cf. point 5 in the Call for entries), but various applications do not count as obligatory parts of the entry.
For Area A, entrants must submit designs in both colour and monochrome versions, and a simulation of the relief version, and each version must be produced in variants with maximum sides of 200mm, 100mm, 20mm, and 10mm; i.e. altogether 12 images. Entrants may decide themselves as to the number of designs they present in A3 format. The contracting authority does not demand that entrants present their designs on twelve separate A3 forms.
